Round three
In the third round, the Houston Texans selected DT Earl Mitchell. Mitchell is a three technique tackle who does possess good speed he is solid against the run but needs to work on pass rushing technique. The Arizona DT is 6′ 2″ 300 pounds.

With their second pick in the third round, the Texans selected TE Tony Moeaki TE Iowa. Moeaki is 6’3″ 245 pounds and an excellent receiver. With the questions surrounding Owen Daniel’s knee injury, Moeaki is a good selection here.
Houston selects…………
Auburn RB Ben Tate. Tate rushed for 1300 yards and 10 TD’s last season. Running back was a serious need for the Texans with question marks surrounding Steve Slaton and his injuries.
